I'm so happy to hear that so many of you are enjoying this plant! I usually use loamy soil, but if that's not available, compost is a great option. Just make sure the soil is slightly acidic to neutral, and it will thrive!
I think your plant would really love loam-based compost in combination with some sandy soil!
Obviously, you'll need a planting medium with good drainage. You can add perlite or vermiculite to improve drainage and aeration.
Using organic materials such as compost, leaf mold, or manure is also good for this plant. However, I would advise you to avoid overwatering until the soil pools. π€
